Redefining "E30"

as for the cast/forged issue. I decided to weigh the combo's

- naked forged M system I with 215/40/17 falken azenis rt615's weigh 36.5 lbs on my bathroom scale

- forged M system I incl fans and turbine covers with 215/40/17 falken azenis rt615's weigh 42lbs

- cast M system I incl fans and turbine covers with 215/40/17 falken azenis rt615's weigh 46.5lbs

hubcaps were not included in this scientific test.

edit: mike -I'm not sure i like it either, but it's growing on me. The car will never be as nice as your M3, so i don't really feel the need to try to make it look nice. I origionally bought it to put bilstiens/h&r's and some sticky tires and thrash at the ring, but you can see how well that plan turned out... the new motor is a 3 liter.

I hope you put some bigger tire on with the turbo flares, other wise your wheels look puny. :|

Nevertheless, I love the green naked M systems, and your car pulls off the black flares pretty well. Flares are really growing on me, but I don't like them on 2 doors as much as I do on 4 doors. :(

P.S paint your rockers black, it'll look better with the flares.
