i would at least adjust the valves. The tick will most likely go away, not fully, but it will sound better. You don't want that thing breaking if its your daily. Good luck with the m50, i hope it works out better than your valence.
i am however entitled to my opinion, and by posting your car you have to hear it. it looked better when you bought it. Now it looks like ass. Sorry man. That's how I feel. Prove me wrong. Yours sounds the closest so far. When listening to it on a video it sounds like a pulley, but I assure you its coming from within the motor. The ticking dont sound bad because the exhaust is so loud. It still runs, and I drove it to where it sits, but Im not driving it anymore. I at least want to save the bottom end to use in the 318
