Interesting project! I was going to suggest some Datsun ZG bolt on style flares:

They would probably fit pretty well, I haven't seen anyone else do it yet though, so they may not be a perfect fit. Here's a good tutorial on how to install flares as well:

Thats why all my post are in english!

I like writing in english, it keeps my english alive! Here in Chicoutimi nobody is talking in english, not like in Montreal.

thanks for the DIY and comment!! This Datsun is sick!! However, as I wrote, I allready got my flare. Should do a test fit shortly to see If I will keep them or sell them.

                Update

                New year update!

Pretty much everything is out: engine, front and rear subframe and suspension, brake booster...

The next step is to remove the steering, everything that is left in the interior, remove the side windows and get rid of that rusted body

Oh yeah, Shitty pic of the black one:

In fact, the flares wont be installed soon...

The red body is now gone! empty!

And the black will soon get in for a complete revamp.

Engine being out, I'm now cleaning it and doing maintenance.

Just found out that my water impeler was in steel! :p

Also, With the vin on the engine head, I found that the production date is 95/04. I will consequently replace the valve spring retainer.:???:
