I wish I could get mine that good looking. I've been tempted to try some cleaner wax by 3M, some day it might happen (also been looking at getting it wet sanded).
I was looking at your pics of the car at your site. What kind of tails do you have? Them is hawt.
I'm doing both of my cars this weekend, and could only hope that they come out half as nice as yours. That is an awesome photo layout. The camera you used must have been a very nice unit to say the least.
We all now black cars are the worst to detail. Oh the building was a interesting place, Details?
I'll try to answer some of the questions: The car is lowered on H&R springs and spacers, Bilsteins, and M3 offset bushings. The wheels are 17".
The car has 119k on it. I have put about 6k on it since I bought it in May, with a couple of trips driving back forth between Socal and Norcal.
The location is somewhere off of Haven drive in Ontario -- industrial part of town. Squidd would know the exact location, as he was the one that scouted the shot and took the photos, and yes, I think his camera is pretty damn amazing based on how nicely these photos turned out.
Thanks again for the warm welcome to the board. I really appreciate it.
Oh, and for those curious about the "other" car, here is the gallery for my MR2:
I guess it could be lighting. I just noticed it a lot in this picture. Look under the bumper molding on the front bumper. It doesn't look at all like the gloss black of the body.
I think the car would look 100% better with an iS lip and more lowering though.
I'm thinking you should continue the all black theme with smoked euro ellipsoids, smoked tails, smoked LaminX on the fogs as well as the iS lip spoiler. Ride height looks good though.
