Thanks man, I love your Touring. When I was looking for the right E30, I wanted a Touring so bad I could taste it, but there weren't any to be had here in the States.
To be sure, the black wheels add a bit of a punk ass attitude to the car, but it kind of goes along with its loudish, burbling/rumbling character. For now I am enjoying it. I used to have HREs with a polished outer on my M3, and every time I went to wash the car I spent anywhere from an extra hour, to an extra few hours polishing and treating the outers with product to get them to look their best. With the matte LTW5s, I wash them. I don't even need to dry them because they won't show water spots, but I do anyway out of habit, and because I get meticulous when I clean. The ease of maintenance is a really nice novelty for me.
D-Force makes the same wheel in painted silver, and I might go with those for the summer tires, and remand these black ones to winter duty, but for now I am enjoying the all-black thing. :)
