Hey guys, i just want to introduce myself and my rides. Im a certified tech for volvo, cars are my life in all aspects, I eat, breathe and sleep bmw however... I currently own a very nice modded calypso on black e34 540 6spd, 87 shelby z daytona turbo (300+ whp) and my newest addition to the stable is a mint brilliantrot on black 90 325is :p, which brings me here.
ive been searching for a nice e30 for a while now and WTF!!!, who would have guessed that a super nice e30 would have fallen into my hands once again. (same exact story w/ my e34 540/6, no joke) ....i just wanted to let you guys know that i am the proud new owner of an original 67k brilliantrot on black 1990 e30 325is 5-spd w/ an lsd, sport seats and a MINT MINT MINT interior! the car has a bad throw out bearing so i haven't been able to drive it, but i have already recieved my sachs clutch kit from bav auto and have been having my way at the trans. it was traded in at my dealership and we took it in off a tow truck...who wants to guess what i got this car for.....
I figured most of you would enjoy my story and pics, i will keep this thread active as im going to be dumping a ton of cash on suspension mods and wheels in the very near future.
ok as promised here are some pics...REMEMBER though, i have not touched a thing, this is how the car was dropped off...i'll keep posting the progress of restoring her back into glory. im super stoked
before that though im going to state that this car does have an original 67K miles, odometer works and past t-belt sticker confirms it. this guy must have dumped some money into it recently and just gave up when the throw out bearing took a dump :D...upon my inspection it had the following performed by the prev owner very recently
-new battery
-new belts
-new o2 sensor
-oil change and filter
-fuel filter and related rubber hoses
-brand spankin new michelin tires
-plugs
-brake fluid flush
oh yea and the a/c works and blows ice cold lol...PICS BELOW IS HOW I ACCUIRED THE CAR WITHOUT TOUCHING A THING

. Then i got a set of Venolia pistons, and then i had no major problems after that.
