First time around with my 2.2, i had Keith Black pistons in it. They didn't like the boost at all, even more so when it went lean . Then i got a set of Venolia pistons, and then i had no major problems after that.

keith blacks suck, everyone from the 2.2 crowd has had bad luck with them. the shelby cast ones seem to work ok, i have only melted one and that was due to lack of fuel at 21psi from the stock fuel rail. ive changed that now for a custome one so we will see how that goes...the venolias are great, they will be my next setup when this blows up again

hey if anyone is selling a stock IS lip i am interested, im also intersted in springs, a chip and swaybars.

I hate you. I used to have an 88 325iS, same color and everything. I was planning on putting an M tech 2 kit on but it needed a new head, money got tight so I sold it off and made money on it. That is an extremely clean unmolested example. Just needs a good paint restoration. $500??? fuck! u lucky bastard.

Car looks good though, I would suggest putting in an
airbox before a joy ride though. That switch is to disable
all of the window switches, looks like it needs paint restoration too.
