Get E46 spring pads, theyre the thickest and only like $15 from BMW. And shocks have nothing to do with ride height unless theyre air shocks!

wrong, monotube shocks like bilsteins will add to the spring rate some and affect the ride height. not to say it will raise it up an inch or anything, but it makes a difference.

I really dont belive the shocks alone will give me an inch back, I will however combine those with spring pads, and thank for the e46 info

the new shocks are being looked for right now. its a budget car so im not exactly running off to "BAV" auto to get some.

right now im gonna sping pad it, and then MR325 is gonna trade me for m3 rears. these rear springs SUCK dick, dont try to defend them.

        thanks.

Throw some spring pads in the rear, top and bottom if you havn't already done that. I've been down this road before, your car looks level and being a plastic bumper car the arch is lower and creating that tire tuck. Rear shocks will do nothing for you. The absorber does not support the weight of the vehicle. The front HD's you have will blow out eventually too. They are not engineered for lowered ride height.

when I first got my E30 it had blown bilsteins in the back and it was tucking the rear tires, so it obviously effects it, now even with my H&R sports and billy sports I don't tuck the rear tires.

Wait, so you just bought the springs and threw them in without getting new shocks?

My guess is your TABs are destroyed as well, which is leading to some of that camber.
