Who cares if 20 people in the USA have the same wheels. How often do you see people rolling around Alpina replicas on your day to day travels? Never.
Eh, I guess you are right. I just don't like Alpina wheels.

I must say I liked the Kopies much better too. How's the suspension I was thinking about geting the Bilstein sports.... if its a shitty kit I'll just buy the H&R coils

Correct, it's Spax springs with Bilstein Sport shocks.

The muffler is stock with a Pepboys tip, cause that's how I roll.

its not about originality, its about what looks better, who cares how many people have something if it looks good?

                            Not true!
The issue was that Alpina was under the impression we were telling customers our wheels were genuine Alpinas at a lower price. We straightened out the issue with Alpina's attorneys.Seems that someone (maybe a competitor) lied to Alpina to stop our Kopi wheel business.
We agreed to refrain from attaching the Alpina logos to the wheels.BTW-these logos are available from numerous sources and also are sold on E-Bay regularly.
Our wheels have quite a few differences from the originals-for example they have 19 spokes vs 20;a different center cap locking mechanism;different size-the real Alpinas do not come in a 4 lug 17"x7.5" size and a different lip design.
We are still selling the Kopi (Alpina replica) wheels and have never tried to insinuate that our wheels are genuine Alpinas.Every customer that has purchased them knew that they are replicas.Alpina's attorneys have agreed to drop their case.

But I'm getting this info all second hand. I also heard they were required to surrender all current stock of wheels too...
