    84 318i with euro bumpers

    OBD1 S52 Swap
    11.5:1 pistons
    shaved head and block
    0.70" MLS HG
    ARP hardware throughout
    BavCNC port and polished head
    Shrick 264/256 cams
    M50 intake manifold
    24lb injectors
    Riot Racing BBTB
    3.5" MAF
    Bimmerworld intake elbow
    Turner Underdrive Pulleys
    Ceramic coated exhaust

All packed into an early model 318 that weighs very little!
Dyno sheet first pull was on a chip tune that left a lot to be desired, and had a breakup issue around 3500rpm.
It was awesome getting this engine tuned by Zach at 22rpd. Seeing the countless hours of my motor work pay off was awesome.

Since few will agree with this, here's a quick 3rd gear rip! 3.25LSD out back with a G260

Damn! I cam here expecting another "guys do you think this plan will make 300whp in 24v?" thread.... seeing a dyno sheet like this makes me seriously consider building a hotrod motor like this vs a supercharger

Haha, I've come across many of those threads so I felt inclined to post one where it actually happened!

I can safely note that for the money an SC is far more cost effective!

Most certainly! A proper dyno tune will make sure you're extracting every bit of power you can from your setup! I haven't seen that 540 3.5" throttle body before, that's an interesting setup that I may have to look into a bit more.
From a quick glance on your thread I would expect to see your car make about 260whp if it's 10.5:1 for compression ratio yet.

Yup, that's the exact number I'm hoping for. It's not as much of a goal as it once was, but would still be nice to accomplish! Unfortunately, given the cost to get the car dyno tuned around here, I'll likely just be sticking with a canned tune and see what it makes.

Looks great! I have honestly been having a little bit of S52 swap remorse, wanting more power and wondering if I should have just done a turbo M52 or LS, but this is somewhat inspiring.
