If the wife is going to drive, its best to stay away from poly and keep the OEM rubber stuff.

Send an email to sales@bluntech.com They are supporters of this site and not owned by a hedge fund company (like ECS) so you're supporting the people who support R3V. He should be able to get a comparable package. Just send him a link to the ECS tuning and say you want to buy the same from them.

Good jobs on the axle, hopefully you marked it before you took it off so its all still balanced. You'll find out soon enough!

Thanks I will check with them on a kit. Got my AEM wideband and kit today. Went in easy and found out I am running at 12.4, so I guess a little more tuning is in order. Also installed new plugs and wires.

Where did you get your injectors from? I've got the L Jeronic on my 1974 o2.

Decided to start working on replacing the steering rack. It came out of the car fairly easily, probably because of all of the oil and power steering fluid on the underside of the car. However the steering knuckle took and hour to get off the rack. Tried every trick and nothing worked, just beat on it with a pry bar and hammer till it came off.

Actually I got it from Oreillys. Went with them because if I have a problem I can go right to the store and they sell a rebuilt OEM rack.

Very nice progress!! M10 here, it’s a fun little motor. And agree Bluntech should be able to sort you out with parts. Get the AKG RTAB tool if you don’t have a similar tool. Makes all 4 a 2 min job. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I got some carbon fiber wrap as a cheap way to add some personal touches to the interior. I think it came out pretty good for my first time every using vinyl wrap. Also installed some pedals and floor mats my wife got me for my birthday. Overall I think it added some nice touches to the interior without making it look like a ricer.

Today was a good e30 day. I was also able to install the new headlights I got and she saw sun for the first time in 8 years.

First I would like to thank you guys for your encouraging comments. This is my first time working on something other than an old muscle car, so I am in a pretty steep learning curve on this one.

Second thing is I tried to mount the seats, and realized a made an oops in my purchase, I bought sedan seats not coupe seats. I think I found a solution and will post an update when the parts arrive.

I also have a question that I hope some m10 people could shed some light on. I was going to try and take her for a spin around the block to see if all of my mechanical work was done correctly, but after she went about 100 ft I ran into a problem. The AFR went down to 10:1 and she could barely move. This morning I started her up and she was running back at 13.8:1 AFR. Any help is greatly appreciated.
