Was tempted to have a shop handle it but everyone online says they got billed 5-7 hours of labor so around $1300-1400.
I don't remember it being too bad. Maybe I didn't bother to reinforce the inside?

Looking at the pictures I took at the time, there is definitely a plate on the underside and outside.

Hello fellow alpine Ti owner. Looking real good. I think an m54 swap would be fun. They still sell the front sway bar mount and pretty simple to cut and replace. I'm s52 sport but it's been through a few iterations with my 13 years of fun.

Hit 200k miles this week and my window regulator exploded immediately. Also my clutch is slipping.

        That is all

Thanks! I'm undecided on engine now, plenty of aluminum m52b28 for sale near me but an s52 or m54 is also very doable. Need to free up some space in the garage first

Haven't done much with the car since buying another mode of transportation, a 2014 VFR800

Got under the 318ti today and noticed my outside CV boots are torn because I got lazy and used clamps that I shouldn't have.

I ordered another boot kit and decided to pull everything out tonight and install my output seals and o rings tonight

Mark at Danville Diffs sent me a set of snap rings that I was missing from for free after I made a post on the r3v fb page, many thanks to him.

I'll rebuild the axles, again, and get everything installed again by the end of the week.

On the bright side, an engine swap is much more doable now that I have another way to get to work. And hopefully this last round of small fixes on the rear end gets rid of my noise I've been chasing

Definitely takes the load off having a second mode of transportation. And two older vehicles are still way cheaper then one new vehicle.

Congrats on the bike! Looks like it's pretty comfortable. How do you like it?
