Any Love For An E28?

My E30 is away at the shop getting the clearcoat cut & buffed, so I (temporarily) have a free garage space.


Picked up this 1986 535i E28 in April, but just started in on it last weekend.

Not sure how much more I'll get done before the snow flies. At least the carpet is out now and any leaks won't just sit in the carpet foam making the rust even worse.

I believe these are E38 Style 5 wheels. Can anyone confirm?

Going to remove the undercoating from the bottom and sound deadening from the top.
Then I'll see how much of these floorpans are left, and decide if I need full replacements.

I know Valcas Garage makes replacement panels, but I imagine shipping is quite expensive.
