So you adjusted the accuracy of the temp sender to the Dash 2 by putting an inline resistor?

Wouldn't there be a variation at different temps though which would make you need a different resistor? (I know thats what it's supposed to do, I don't know if I'm explaining it right lol)

No. I am using the factory temperature sensor, which is a one wire thermistor. In order to run non powered sensors, you need to use a pull up resistor in the system, I explained it on another forum:

        Yeah.

There is actually a 100 ohm pull up resistor that i soldered into the circuit.

So the dash 2 reads the voltage AFTER the 100 ohm resistor, but BEFORE the sensor. As the sensor changes voltage the voltage between the resistor and the sensor changes. That voltage is run through an algorithm in the dash and output as a temperature reading.
If the first resistor wasn't there, you'd see 5v at the input all the time. It's soldered into the circuit right after the power supply, which is located inside the cabin.

All I did with the oven was determine what values the thermistor, independent of anything else.

        Oh yea,
        My car runs again!

got the intake all back together, no coolant leaks. I pressure checked it to 20psi and saw nothing, so I feel pretty relieved about that. Tonight I'm going to loom up all the shit in the engine bay and, time permitting, will install the front end...

40gs is less than I would expect, honestly.

I thought Ir ead somewhere that James Criv had 60+ into his early model.

Status seats are the bees knees. My cousin had some (although never used, then sold) mounted up and I fucking loved them.

I bought the seats... I need to adjust my mounting brackets a bit, but they fit a lot better than the sparcos did.

I couldn't turn down the status seats. They're a year old, and retail for $19xx without any mounting parts plus shipping on top of that, which is usually another 100 bucks or so. I got the pair with the side mounts for 1800...

The thing I don't like about bride is there are SOOOO many knockoffs that you see them in POS civics and shit ALL THE TIME.
