Going to start updating this thread again. After tons of research, frustration and trial/error I have gotten the car running on megasquirt. Just working on idle/light throttle tuning right now mostly, but I'll be doing some road tuning this week and hopefully dyno tuning by next week. I've learned so much throughout the process though (still have tons more to learn) and I'm pretty confident my gains are going to be quite substantial, I can already tell that my motor was not running right at all on the motronic.

What sort of modding needs to be done to fit the ITBs?

On the motor side, adapter plates and probably some porting. The neck on the T-stat housing also needs to be modified to clear the TPS. In an e30, the stock plenums (e34 and e28/e24) will hit the brake booster. I haven't really figured that out yet but I think I may run them with just filters initially, then plan on building a plenum down the road. Also you need some sort of standalone engine management. I'll be running megasquirt, certainly not the best, but it's the cheapest.

Thanks! Unfortunately last night one of my caliper bolts backed out and sent the caliper through one of my Azevs.. there's a 2" hole in the inner barrel of my wheel. I'm lucky because I was only going ~25 mph when everything locked up but I don't know what I'm going to do about the wheel. Doubt it can be fixed and you can't buy single Aze's anywhere :/

Hopefully I'll have everything sorted out and can get the car completely back together soon. Also, just bought some s38 throttle bodies that shipped out on yesterday, should go nicely with the megasquirt
