today was actually productive and fun. i got the plenum done but we ran out of gas so the damn welder wasn't working quite right. but oh well it;s done and air tight - it looks like crap but oh well. and i started cutting the silicone hose today and and it came out pretty good but because the intake side is a different length than the throttle bodies i still need to cut releifs for proper fitment. i also got a call from the auto-mod shop and was told to come get my stuff. heres the pics of what came in.

i am still waiting on a few parts but they should be here by tuesday at the latest.

tomorrow i am going to the shop and finishing up the intake manifold, and maybe installing the linelocks but who knows time has been kicking my ass since this project began.

As for the welding, I doubt it's air tight, and even if it is, I'd bet money it's going to crack or fail when put under pressure.... (Certified welder)

beleive it or not i understand what my power goals are and plan to accomodate them properly.

oh and today i went to the shop to attempt getting the damn silicone cut and am finding it much harder and slower than i originally thought it would be - its incredibly dusty too (well when you use a hacksaw or cutoff wheel or sawzall). so tomorrow i am going to the airport and godfather has some pretty awesome tools down there he said should work all right. i'll also knock out evening up the runners if at all possible.
