today was total hell

my parts got sent to my old address and it was 20 degrees outside. my bus passed me so i had to wait for the next 1 and then that bus went passed my stop. once i got my package it was to late to catch a bus to my house so i had to walk in 10 degree weather into the wind over 2 miles home carrying a box that measure 3.5 feet long 14 innches wide and 8 inches tall. all while having to pee. it took me over 4 hours to get home (it normally takes less than 15 minutes during rush hour traffic).

0n the good side of things because my aluminum control arm bushings are gone the parts company is sending out free HD rubber bushings (the only bushing upgrade available for lower control arms).

i replaced the head bolts/headgasket today and found that one of the headbolts snapped in two- replaced it and the headgasket and now everything is good. i can'tdrive it for almost an hour yet due to a bad fuel pressure regulator o-ring. but as soon as my friend delivers it i should be ok

the car gods are vengeful and spiteful and occasionally even evil. my alternator pulley has been liquifying belts - she left me stranded sunday morning, so i replaced it yesterday and now natalie is happy as all get out.

however i do need to make note that i mocked up the location of the mti and i think i may have to modify the design because i am not sure it will fit the heater core coolant lines are in the way so what it think i may do is either create a sheild for them or space out the throttlebodies and push them directly to the hacked up intake manifold, and then set the plenum as close to the throttlebodies as possible. my optioons are limited and this is becoming a royal pain in the ass.
