Hey shitbag, let's get a few things straight, just so you get it right in your gigantic fucking head.
YOU got laughed out of bf.c, and YOU'RE pulling the same shit here too. Nobody gives a fuck about your build thread, and the only reason people are even looking at it is to see how further butchered your car is. Your entire build is based around bad information and clueless assumptions.
YOU came here and started posting. The notion that you can shove your way in somewhere and start pissing in peoples' cereal without them being upset really sums you up to a T. You go where you're not wanted, you piss people off without caring, you post bad info and worse ideas about things you don't understand, and when people far more wizened than you try to correct you that advice is ignored and you flaunt insults for it.
Really, this about says it all:
i had planned on going with a war chip because of plug and play-ability but after a long - very long conversation with peter from diyautotune; and a very long conversation with brody from miller reguarding his war chip i was told use megasquirt. unfortunately for me this is a lttle more software based than i really like to deal with (i am a hardware guy not a software guy) but when brody says his product can't do what i need it to i listen.
You didn't listen. His product can't do what you want it to because you're too fucking clueless to understand why your ideas won't work.
Take, for example, your roller rocker idea. There's hardly any friction on the stock rocker setup, and it's well known why stock rockers break. Your idea is to add a shitload of mass at the very end of the rocker, all in the name of performance. This will only lower the safe redline of your engine. Even if you make the rockers strong enough you'll always have more mass to move, and that drastically outweighs any potential gains via friction reduction, which in this case would be minimal. The reason it works on something like a chevy is because they have rocker ratios of 1.7:1 and greater on performance builds, and there's room for it.
You can't have kids huh? I guess the only blessing is that you're the last of your species.
Wow. So this thread is back from the dead. I feel the manly gym shower camaradery floating around. Oups. I dropped the soap. Who gets it? ;)
Edit: "TrueLove Description:
i am looking for a beautiful woman who would like to spread her legs and let me bury my face between them until u cum until you are ready and flooded with your cum then take me deep inside of you"19 year old virgin?
As for the true love description, when you learn all you know from the internet you're going to get a few things wrong. Look at a lot of the noob M50 swaps here, same principle...
to be honest if i had an extra m42 manifold i would give it a shot. do know it is a time consuming process. and not an inexpensive one at that. if you supplied the intake manifold your other necessary expenses would be plenum around $20 runners around $10 the throttlebodies around $150 silicone tubing $80, t-bolt clamps 16x$3(<---best option if you plan to do forced induction) or hose clamps $16, vaccume line $3, and then labor charges, and depending on whether i need to fabricate a throttle linkage or not there would be a cost for that as well - if i did need to fabricate one i would ask that you send me a throttle body you're not going to use and the intake manifold.
in total if you supply the intake manifold and the throttlebody (if necessary) you're looking at about $315 in parts alone plus labor frankly it's a time consuming process, not difficult just time consuming.
i would consider making several of these if there were working guinea pig engines. mine should be done sometime this or next weekend. course i have been saying that for nearly a month
