to be honest if i had an extra m42 manifold i would give it a shot. do know it is a time consuming process. and not an inexpensive one at that. if you supplied the intake manifold your other necessary expenses would be plenum around $20 runners around $10 the throttlebodies around $150 silicone tubing $80, t-bolt clamps 16x$3(<---best option if you plan to do forced induction) or hose clamps $16, vaccume line $3, and then labor charges, and depending on whether i need to fabricate a throttle linkage or not there would be a cost for that as well - if i did need to fabricate one i would ask that you send me a throttle body you're not going to use and the intake manifold.
in total if you supply the intake manifold and the throttlebody (if necessary) you're looking at about $315 in parts alone plus labor frankly it's a time consuming process, not difficult just time consuming.

I'd also be interested in a soldered inline 8 ITB setup for my V8.
I think my v8 unicorn will be a heck of a lot faster with it.Last edited by makaveli2k; 01-06-2010, 12:31 PM.Comment

every so often i decide to do a project, every so often i have money, and eventually every so often christmas happens. today folks was kind of like the third day of hanukaah because parts have been coming in for the last few days and today i decided to take some pictures of the parts that came in.

that says a/r .70

if you look closely you can see the line lock solenoids in this pic
btw all those braided lines are for the oil filter relocation kit, i am going to go straight to the oil cooler then to the filter block (the port for turbo feed and oil pressure are both located here) then to the engine.
oh and yes i know that is a lot of v band clamps but frankly it has a purpose i am using 1 at the turbo 1 at the bottom of the downpipe 1 at the front of the cat one at the back of the cat and 1 forward of the stainless steel exhaust tip
that is an aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and the oddly small silver cylinder is a walbro 255Comment

It means, I would like to turbocharge the 1.3L in my Ford Festiva.... Seeing a new turbo and IC and other stuff you pictured made me think.

My visit at NADC today got me thinking about alota stuff, hearing some of those turbos made my knees weak, hearing the high performance engines run....ugh. I'm going into paint and body, I will get grades for doing body work on my cars. Also free shop time = win.Originally posted by Beej '86 325esevery time an M-tech 1 spoiler is destroyed, a baby seal dies.87 325:83 jetta coupe:99 volvo c70:99 volvo s70Originally posted by JparkrThe last thing we need are more of the retards on here thinking they are engineers too.Comment
