so i spoke to a machineshop i've done business with before picked up some aluminum roundbar 6061 and they took on the project of making me the adapter i needed my godfathers help with.

i just got the check from uncle sam so naturally the ecu has been ordered and is on it's way.

finished up the hard parts of the vaccume log over the weekend all i need to do is cut some o-ring grooves and i'll be ready to go in that regard.

gotta get the plenum going (i'll probably get that done friday/this weekend, i may call travis and ask if he wants to do it after i cut the large tube.

This is just a fraction of what I've done. I've got some pics of my car, but the progress is pretty slow, considering I don't make much and I spend all my time helping other people. I don't really want to post pics of what I've done on their cars, but they're all either friends or customers. Some seriously nice rides. I think it's pretty clear that the work execution gap between the two of us is fairly vast.

You know the funny thing? I'll tell you, it's not your sense of humor, but rather how skilled the labor is in building a banjo. I had a friend years ago that I'd love to get in touch with again, he's a great guy. His father owned a violin repair shop in Boston, and he was a master craftsman. If I were skilled enough to build a banjo I'd consider my life well spent.

the money is here like i said earlier. i plan on getting everything ready to go this weekend, and i called the tuner shop and made an appointment to have the tune done saturday 3/6/10 @ 10am the ecu should be heree by the weekend so i'll start that at night get the mti knocked out and everything should be ready. Orielly raceway park has there first street legal night on 3/30 so if nothing else the car will be running then. i am so excited. oh and pinks comes to town may 20-something ish i think so i will be competing in that. i don't plan on making it to the finals or anything but at least i'll have fun. most of the parts are here or on there way, really very little to do just very important things to do.
