rust is often your worst enemy on a project porsche.. It helps to know what you are looking for when it comes to P-cars. I would stick to '76 and newer as IIRC this is when Porsche started galvanizing their bodies..

Needs a drop, an iS lip, Alpina Kopi replica's, and maybe some home-smoked turn signals....

      ;)

Looks phenomenal, Anu. Did you get to come up to see it in person?

Any poorly maintained and neglected car will be a money trap no matter what make. This one is in good shape.

        As far as I know, a 1989 911 shares no parts with a 2000 s4. I am, however, no expert, since I have never owned a 2000 s4.

          Chris,

          Thank you very much.

It does need a drop, which is coming this week. It does need a lip, but that will have to wait till next year.

I did come up and see it on Friday. It is coming along very well. Steve and Mario did an amazing job getting the lines of the rear bumper correct. I can't wait to see it with the drop, the skirts, and the license plate lights painted body color. That will really pull the look together.

Quick and extremely dirty photoshop of what a drop would look like.

Are you planning on just re-indexing the torsion bars and shoot for the euro ride height?

              Looks damn good.;)

Yes for the time being. Re-indexing and going for 1/4" below euro ride height. That is about the lowest I can go without raised spindles and shorter rear shocks. Should keep the geometry all right.

License plate lights have been painted. Thanks for the photos, Chris.

Thank you. I am sticking with the stock wheels for now. Next year I will look for 930 spec 16x7 and 16x9 fuchs. I will get them color matched. The current wheels are 16x6 and 16x7.

                          Looking nice!!

What a killer canvas to start with!!

I was initially hoping you'd shoot for a IROC-esque look, but I guess you can't beat the CTR-look.

ROW tail-lamp lenses would be a cool, subtle detail.

Another vote for M&K...Great stuff. I believe they're one of the only to offer a 321 S.S. exhaust for these cars.

                            I see M6 content

Your attention to detail is awesome. The RUF bumpers truly complement the curves in the car. Installing the kit, they did amazing work to fix the imperfections. I hope to see a couple exhaust tips and hope you go through with those wheels... would look, epic.

I picked up the car last night. VSR did a stunning job. I went out to take pictures today and realized that I left my camera on, and the batteries were dead. I will post pictures soon.

I looked into so many different looks for this car before deciding on the CTR-look. The IROC oil cooler form and bumper is a little bit too pronounced for me. I think it would be tough to pull off on a narrow body car. I like how the CTR bumper and valence are nearly flush.

I will post pictures that clearly show the results of all of VSR's hard work reshaping the pieces. I didn't seem right to me to go through the cost and effort of the conversion without getting it right.
