I think the red looks perfect on the silver!
INMO Gold doesn't look that great on silver. BBS's in gold is classic on white, red, and black, but not much else.
the red would compliment the pizaz of the RS bumpers and bring just enough flare while not looking too showy.
I think you should do silver if you want to change the wheel color.

911 looks as clean as your m3 well done.
also where is this heavenly place
Unfortunately that wasn't me. I sold the M3 and it was far from gorgeous. Your 318is, however, is looking great from what I've seen in your threads. I should actually take the "Albany" out of my information. I have a garage out there where the cars winter and spend some time since I don't have enough space at home in MA. Most of my summer driving is in MA.
That heavenly place is VSR in Bow, NH.

I agree that the red would look good with the silver and would add pizaz, but it is a bit too adventurous for me. If they were green like your M-System, I definitely would build them up and give them a shot. I am a big fan of green.
I disagree about the gold. I know that it is not everybody's taste, but IMO BBS gold looks great with almost all colors.

You know, I was thinking the same thing as I panned up to contemplate the red.
I have always wanted gold wheels on a silver car, though. I thought about it hard when I had a silver WRX, but chickened out and got silver BBS RK's. I regret that decision. Actually still have those RK's if anyone wants to buy them.

Dont be fooled, the green wheels are just there to overstimulate onlookers and disguise what a shit box the car really is. My own version of Dazzle Camouflage:crazy:
Honestly though, no car can pull off wacky wheels like a porsche, and i think it will be just the right amount of flash. besides they look to be in good condition, it wouldn't hurt to throw some tires on and see if they are too much:crazy:

Eric, How is the E28 coming?
The condition is part of the problem. The red is pealing off in a few areas. The gold shows through.
Also, the RS's are currently 16x7 and 16x8, the same size as the Fuchs. No need to run them in the same size when the Fuchs look so good.
I am upsizing to 17" and would hate to bolt and seal new lips and barrels to the poorly finished centers only to break them down again. Decisions.
I will mock them up in 17" red before I make my final decision.

Or get a pchop.
Another thing is to leave the sides of the spokes red, but have the top silver/polish.
We will see what the spring brings. It is way to cold right now to do anything physically on the car.
