Ya that would make sense. Chris did you remember to check the pressure after we traded? I remember saying "these have been sitting for a long time so be sure to check them when you get a chance"
You could probably put the wheel on one of your front hubs and spin it up to make sure its still good.Leave a comment:

looking at that tire Im almost 90% sure it was run under inflated for a while and the side wall gave out... happened to my dads e36 a month or 2 agoLeave a comment:

Ironically the side the was rubbing was the passenger side. The driver's side is the one that explodededed. There was zero evidence anywhere on anything remotely close to the tire showing any un-dirty-ing from rubbing. Not to mention it blew right after I unloaded the subframe, a arms, half shafts, ect. All I had in the trunk was a diff. and a drive shaft in the back seat. Close as I can tell I could have run over a razor blade standing on edge perfectly and just sliced the shit out of it?
Sorry to thread jack your shit, Josh lol.Leave a comment:

I was thinking about this. Since you loaded your car with so many e30 parts, could it have made the car lean to that side and caused it to rub on anything, filing it down? I'm just trying to figure out why it happened the way it did.Leave a comment:

Well the tire failure wasn't due to camber. The camber was actually a bit further towards the outside of the wheels. That was just utter tire failure.Leave a comment:

Nice! You could probably use the extra tire anyway huh? A rear camber kit would probably help your contact patch too.Leave a comment:

Ordered new tires and having the wheel checked for true and then hopefully, if it is still copesetic, mounting 215/40/16F and 225/40/16R. Should give them a bit more meat. Anything bigger and I'd have to step up to a 50 series. And that's just for 245's.Leave a comment:

I have really enjoyed reading through the build of your "beater." Well done, I think the ESMs look great! Can't wait to see the front euro bumper on there.Leave a comment:

Ya I was just starting to think that a few days ago haha. Once I get my front euro bumper and coils on its going to be pretty nice. I still have spots of tree sap on there that I hope will come out nicely when I get around to polishing it.Leave a comment:
