all the snow melted here, but i am just a puss cuz there are tons of potholes here and i would rather hit one with my skidplate in there lol.

if you could do install pics when you get it on there tomorrow, that would be awesome!

Installed the skidplate tonight with the help of Matt-B
My rad support was too fucked up to get those last bolts in. The PO ran over a boulder or something like that.

      Matt-B doing his thing

My clearence once i set it back down. Took out all front spring pads now. I think that screw was supposed to go on my front lip.

Got the adjusters for the ellips all cleaned and lubricated. New H1 bulbs came today so they will go in soon

The Vert is on jackstands now for some renovation so heres a shot of my other purchase from RaceSkids. MASSIVE improvement for a convertible.

        Perfect!

so how hard was it to drill the holes? you had to force them in?

also it will line up once you bolt it to the steering rack, right?

Ya i bolted it up to the steering rack then you just hold it up and drill it where the holds line up. My rad support is pretty haggard so i had to use a BFH to get it to line up correctly. Drilling the holes wasent that bad.

So the eta is dead again with starter issues. I checked and rechecked all the wiring and grounds and whatnot and nothing is helping. Now when i try to crank it over the starter just spins without even touching the flywheel. Its a freshly rebuilt bosch too so i have no idea whats up. Most likely something in the harness got messed up during the swap or something somehow did not get installed right with the flywheel. So at this point im going to take out the motor and trans and look over everything carefully and if i dont see anything obviously wrong im going to have to swap either a M30 or M50. If i can find something i will gladly put the motor back in because i like the gas mileage.

Picked these up today for the vert

There is still a lot of stuff I wanted to do to the vert before i started driving it again so i decided on a stop-gap measure until i do a real swap to the sedan. I picked up a complete eta motor to put into the sedan hopefully within the week. I also picked up a G265 for a future swap :)

              Old motor is out

Does this flywheel still look usable?

              New eta motor

Did you notice any difference between noise/handling/bottoming out? with the spring pads out?

Not in the front at all. The back did feel a little more NVH because the springs arnt held in as tightly as they were. Not sure about the bottoming out. This car is riding on stock blown struts anyway
