    My 335i

Since the other thread is way too long, I decided to start fresh with this one since there are couple changes to the car.

For those interested in seeing early stages of the car - click here -> http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=73521

It looked like this when I first got her, cracked dash, worn interior, drum brakes, shitty m10 and all, the list was looong.

After doing full suspension/interior overhaul it now looks like this:

Replaced the seats, e-brake console/e30m3 boot, dash, front/rear glass, front upper headliner piece and installed e30m3 rear shelf since my car does not have a 3rd brake light to name a few major items...the list is too long.

    Euro bumpers/valance/euro fogs.

Then finally came the engine swap after the chassis received 325i front/rear brakes, s3.73 diff etc.

    Out with the old

In with the new (fully rebuilt 91 b35) - 211?hp/225ft.lb of torque baby :)

A couple things to clean up in the engine bay and under the car (exhaust is hitting against the body on bumps) and the steering rack is making noises so an e36 3.2 lock to lock rack is next on the list along with going back to coilovers and bigger front sway bar. Possibly will remove the s3.73 in favor of s3.46 as the 1st gear is way too short.

Now that the m10 is out of the car and swap is more or less done, I could finally get myself to do something about the looks.

Brand new oem rear valance to clean up the rear of the car is here for $280 shipped :)

Front oem m-technic I valance is on the way from UK. Not new, but looks like it's in good shape for the price of $81 plus shipping :)

    Finally a worthy update .

I have to re-learn the car all over again. Before it was pretty much a keep the throttle floored even while turning etc...now it's way different and it's like driving a totally different car. Easy to get in trouble for sure if you aren't careful.

Good looking so far. That's a nice early model you've got there. And the engine looks mint (yes, I saw that it is rebuilt). Looks great in the engine bay.

              Good stuff.

I continue with persistently annoying questions:
What did you do for power steering? M30 pump? what lines?

Did the car you took the M30 out of have a vacuum booster? We realised yesterday that mine does not, and thus I don't have a handy place to connect the vacuum line. (although I do have that tiny nipple on the bottom of the intake mani... is that what you used?)

kronus - m30 power steering pump. transfer the little adapter (threaded piece that the power steering hose connects to from the m10 pump). Low pressure hose needs to be longer, so buy 2ft of power steering hose. Engine came out of a loaded 735i with electronic throttle body, it had the fitting for the booster but lacked 2nd (one is for fpr) small nozzle on the bottom of the intake for the intake boot/tb vacuum line. easy way to go is to grab another e32/e34 manifold.

                      Yeah, educate me as well.

FWIW I used the m20 power steering pump and it worked fine, just had to fab a bracket.

The car looks great, you should go full mtech 1 though, that would be sex.

The rear valance I thought was a SCAM, guy listed his location as FL but then I found out he was in DOMINICAN REPUBLIC and it came in 3 days! There isn't a secret, just browse ebay.de and co.uk and ask questions. A couple times I tried to get some Startec lights or m-tech sideskirts from .de guy and all I got was "NEIN". Maybe my german wasn't good enough lol.

That's sweet Jean. Good work! I'm thinking about buying an early 318i just to do the swap on.
