Wowsers. I thought my 12 pine needles stuck in mine where bad. Soda explosion or just a straight up Cola fight?
What'd you use to dye the carpets exactly?
Good luck! It looks like you're up to it.Need a part? PM me.

Hey Joe, thanks a lot for the Helicoil size. It saved me some time searching!
Well Im back from Germany and I have a lot of motivation. So I figured "Fuck, its not raining yet. I'll get some work done on this thing before 2010."
Cleaned off the seat rails for re-installation, about a dollar in change came out of them. And now they slide properly without binding. Hmm go figure.
Before:
After:
Installed:
Next It was time to play with the paint while I had the weather on my side. This sucked because my back is still hurt from my accident. So it took me all day yesterday to do the exterior, usually takes me about 5 hours when I'm 100%.
Basically the summery of the process was, rewash the car removing all pine needles. Remove the pitch and sap. Claybar the car. Then begin the cutting process.
One side of the hood cut:
Hood fully cut. Notice the difference in color on the fender:
Trunk cut:
All tops done. You can see the old color on the side:
While I was cutting I was also finishing the door trim. Before and after:
Door trim installed and all Cut, polished and Waxed. Except for the cowl, A-pillers and bumpers/valances. (as she sits right now):
Breaks over. Back outside, I'm finishing the interior today.

Today I swaped the shitty, broken, blue and green pioneer deck out for a nice Sony CDX-R3000 I had laying around.
I didn't get to finish the interior yesterday because my room mate broke our linen closet door. I spent the rest of the day building a duplicate.
So im aiming for today. Then suspension tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
