Yea...I've been brought into cars loving Chevy...kinda branched out...now im Chevy + Euro...wouldn't be suprised if a ls1 ended up in my e30...now that i know its possible haha :) I wish...I'm actually gonna keep the e30...i love it way too much to ever get rid of it...i'll drive it to the ground...my next car will be a white b5(v6biturbo) Audi s4 Avant. I need a car to drive in the snow....iX would be nice...but still too small for friends + equipment. -
Thanks for sharing the pics - Camaro looks like a nice ride - it should really move.
The '60 Vette is bone stock - 283 ci / single 4 bbl. Dad bought it in '62. Pic below.
The '65 Impala SS was my F-in-law's pride and joy, his Dad bought new in '65. Running a 327 punched out 30 over - Crane Cam (forget the spec's), Headers into 2-1/2 exhaust thru Flowmasters. Forget the rear end in it. Used to drag it - had it 4.56 rear in it at one point. Pic Below.
Thanks again for the Camaro pics.

I have more pics of the camaro than the e30...me n my dad built that from the rolling chassis + Block. Heres some finished pics...theres a smallblock 327 in it...bored 30 over...can't remember the duration of the cam...gotta ask my dad...full dual (crossed over)custom exhaust,3". front disc brakes...3.08 possi rear end. Thing is squirly. Scares me alot haha.
Heres what we started out with...
Car only came with the chassis + block.

Nice job w/ the SuperEta.
Looks like you are making great progress.
Any other pics of the '67 other than your sig? What are you running in that? Big fan of classic chevies - family has a '60 Vette and a '65 Impala SS.

We call it the "Getrag rattle". Pretty common, no big deal but nothing you can do about it.Leave a comment:

I agree. Mine would have been shaved if my bud wasn't too lazy to when he painted the car, and now it's cracking again - even with flex in the paint :( Don;t know why they had to be made of rubber.Leave a comment:

Are you going to put on the is trunk spoiler? Cause the car looks really clean without it.Leave a comment:

Cool. Sounds like it's unrelated to the top end swap. Thinking about swapping the harness first since I know the car runs good now and it's easier to track down a problem if you make one change at a time (just will have to watch the tach a little closer lol).
I have 2 stock cams from an "i" and am going to see if the guy that re-ground a few GM cams for me in the past can do one of these. From what I can tell, you can't get much more than a 264 out of the stock lobe.
Again, props on the build. I happen to like the diving boards :DLeave a comment:

Havn't had any problems...running wise...only thing that is happening...is theres a chattering noise....sometimes...not always...but I've showed it to some "BMW Specialists" thats what they like to call themselves...I'm not convinced too much by them....They say its cuz of the dual mass clutch...I dunno...cuz the chattering noise goes away when the clutch is in. It never used to do this...I'm guessing its just from the lumpyness...makes it rattle..not sure...havnt looked into it too hard.Leave a comment:

Nice job.
Can't wait to get mine done. Still have to powdercoat the valve cover to match the intake manifold, and don't really want to put the stock "i" cam in.
ECU plugged in and worked fine with everything else left in the car? I have the ECU, harness, and complete top end.Leave a comment:
