WTF are you talking about my parents buying me a HG?!?! You must really have problems reading. Also you're whole argument about it being a 325 is stupid. Are you calling all e36/e46 m3's 325s/328's as well? I also dont care what my car will ever sell for because guess what... i dont want to sell it. Get over your m3 envy and GTFO.

Brosiph, i did not attack you, please do not call me a retard, or tell me that i need to read.

I don't care what you say that motor is, the genesis of what you call that M3 motor is a punched out 325 engine. I also don't care who beat what S14/S50 argument to death; an E30 M3 with an S14 engine driven well is something special. Your POR 15 sled will be nothing more than a 325 with fat fenders, a 5 lugs swap and a torquey-no-skill-needed-to-drive-fast-stroked M50.

He's calling the S50 a glorified M50, which it kind of is. But there's nothing wrong with that.

I'm with you, and this has been beaten to death. The S14 is a great motor, but the extra output of an S50 outweighs its one shortcoming (weight).

Agreed. My car is under the knife right now as well. I have a box of stuff to be brought to the coater. I hope to get most of my under chassis stuff done soon.

Using spares though and then replace when assembling.

Yeah i am going e39 style 5's with 215/40/17 all around. The PC was 100 per item, and i had taken 3 things there (subframes and my valve cover thats wrinkle black). The calipers cost me 50 each, so over all 500 at the powder coaters but i figure im not taking this stuff off for a while so may as well do it while the car is out of commission anyways.

Engine swaps are no biggies if you keep the S14 for later to swap back in. In general they are worth less money as you know to collectors and enthusiasts.

Love the Powdercoated subframes, no more rust there. What did that cost? I can't imagine all that much.

Don't go too big with wheels, it really dampens the spirit of an E30 to run heavy wheels. I have system II and like them as they are somewhat lightweight but the tires offset the savings.

You say E30 M3's are going to be very rare in 10 years, yet your shoving a stroked 325 motor in a good shell:hitler::hitler::hitler:

Havent made much progress because there was something funky with the block. Got it all sorted out now though so engine will come together soon. Got new wheels and got the subframes back from PC... calipers should be a few more days.
