My eta daily build

Well after going back and forth between wanting to sell it or keep it, i decided on keeping the car and using it as my summer daily due to the fact of being in a very serious car accident recently and wanting to have a safe economy friendly car.

Car started as a $500 eta, factory lsd,13 button, paint code 045, sport seats,5spd, mostly 1 owner its entire life with a huge stack of service receipts:


interior all taken out to fix floors(same time fixed fenders, rockers,license plate light area, tail light area)

I picked up some wheels




Did tbelt, tensioner, water pump, all new coolant hoses, all new belts, plugs,wires,cap,rotor,adjusted valves,fuel pump,fuel filter, and a lot of other maintence items.


This what the car looks like of this week








So far i did the following:
map light mirror
91 dash
91 center console
updated hvac decals
prem sound
blk pulls and map pockets
blk plastic kick panels
e34 tool box
dual light mod for trunk
oem bmw floor mats
oem bmw mud flaps
new windshield
oem bmw zhp knob
leather shift boot
is weaves refinished and new emblems
potenza 960as's
t belt+tensioner
belts
hoses
plugs,wires,cap,rotor
fuel filter,oil filter, air filter all oem
fuel pump
wet sanded and polished tail lights
new license plate lights
new wiper arm caps,wiper nozzles,refinished wiper arms
door to glass gaskets
roundels
plate filler
sunroof oem gasket/seals
and a whole bunch of new misc trim here and there

Should be wet sanding the car either saturday or one day next week along with painting bumper surrounds and window moldings trim black. also Im ordering new ellipsoids, kidney grille from work along with euro grilles from abrahams.

Thanks, yea once i get new upholstery for the rear seat then it will be even nicer.

As for a drop im thinking after my other project Ill do H&R sports and billy sports with all new suspension parts to go along with it.

havent finished cutting it yet, still have a little bit of the sunroof to do. Also have yet to prep and paint the bumper surrounds/ trim

Thanks, at first I wasnt at all crazy for the color but its grown on me a lot. BTW the sport seats are going:crazy:, I got a new rear seat to replace the sun destroyed back seat that i had, and in the mean time i also picked up the door panels and door cards. I want to have new upholstery made up for the front seats to match code #295, what do you guys think good condition hounds tooth #153 door panels+153 rear door cards would sell for?

overall the seat is in really good condition, no cracks/rips pipping is not wavy on head rest and after using leatherique on them they're nice and soft. I figure when it comes time to having the front covers made up ill order dye that matches and re dye the rear seat.



Now only if I could wash the car outside so i could finally finish detailing the car.
