Why havent u thik of doing S54 swap with 6 speed ?
Can you share this color code ?
    Thanks mate!
I prefere the S50, and the S54 is also very much more expencive. And to pay so much more for the extra 20hp I don't see the point of. Don't think mine is that much slower than a S54 swap, especially if the VANOS is deleted.

The wheels needed to be cleaned on the inside, so did that as well

      Degrease is working

      A round with foam

      Done with the wash

      Then I polished the inside

Also washed the car and gave it a new layer of wax!

The CF door cards has a reasonable price. I bought them from ACM-AB.se, they can probably ship to you as well.

Car is now packed and ready for the Nürburgring! I will take pictures during the trip and post when I come back. There will be on board go-pro video ;)

So, we had a awesome trip to the Nürburgring!

Car is packed up and ready to go!

On the road to the ferry I had nice weather, and was just enjoying the ride.

Picked up my friend in Stavanger and headed down south to the ferry over to Denmark.
Since the car is "low" I got to stand on a special spot.

                Pit stop on the Autobahn

Arrived at Hotel Am Tiergarten friday afternoon

Saturday I had to get my rear tires balanced, they was shaking the whole car!

Then we did three laps, then it was no more fun. Just after driving of the track smoke started comming out of the hood. Turned out that one of the four crank shaft bolts had been screwed out and into the radiator. Had to pay 18 EUR for 7.5kg of sand to cover up the fluid I was leaking.
Then it was time for fixing. The radiator got fixed with chemical metal, and was working perfect the whole way home.

                Down at Bergwerk

                Random E30M3 pics

Since it was Old Timer Grand Prix that weekend, it was many nice and rare cars to see at the GP Track.

I was lucky to get two laps in the passenger seat of this lovley car. It is my ultimate dream car!

Since there are not much interest in my thread I have not updated it lately. But I can try to start over. There have been a lot of stuff going on with the car since last time her.

I have fitted a ECV to make tha car silent if it is required, since it is very noisy.

Also, as some of you may have seen, I have decorated it in matte black John Player Special. I know there are different oppinions regarding that. I did this mainly to point my car out from all of the blue M3's that have come to the surface specially the last year or two.

Since I'm using Alpha-N software on my S50B32, I want to try running open velocity stacks. I got some Pipercross filters, and put them on. Very happy with the sound. Is it optimal? No :)

Air temp sensor was operated into cyl nr 3 runner

With every high power performance engine comes the question "What oil??".
I have tried Castrol and Agip 10w/60. This year I wanted to try Pennzoil 25w/50 Racing oil.

                      Random interior shot

And the control for the ECV

The weekend 21 and 22 june it was a E30Meet in Norway, and this means a lot of E30's and also other BMW was accepted.
So I stashed almost every tool I have in the garage and went off to the trackday.

Thought I would share some pictures with you from the driving, along with a inside video from one of the drift heats. Hope you enjoy, and both positive and negative comments are welcome.

                      -Cheers

                      The video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUA1QPmamb0

I did a lot of prep work before this event, one of them was new brakepads and fluid to match the front discs. I monuted them some weeks before to break them in properly. They are 06 Compund.

Made this plate in carbonfiber to fit under the velocity stacks, to cover up.
Got it clearcoated and I thought it turned out great!

When first doing a full check on the car, I descided to go for a waterless cooling fluid. Well, this one contains some water and is something between the hardcore racing waterless fluid. System only have a bit of pressure and the boiling point is higher as well.

I was not happy with the purpule Powerflex bushes, so I ordered the new Black Series for the crossmember as well. Already have the black one in the control arms rear so..

                      Fitted

Oil catch tank was needed since I no longer have a intake plenum to take that shit away.

Fitted just fine under there :)

Castrol has retired, so I needed to go to America (again) to get proper lubrication for the driveline.

New silicone radiator hoses in OEM black and a AN10 oilcooler adaptor.

New headers from Raceland was also fitted. The car got a deeper sound in fact!

And the final product of the engine bay, so far.

Started the meet by hitting the dyno. I got 278hp at the wheels and "321.3" in the engine. A healthy 3.2l.

The day started with A LOT of rain, but that is not stopping a E30 :)

The track did dry out, and I was off for some dry track racing, when suddenly...

So, I had to put on some of the weels that I brougth along. They are skinny and slippery...aaand that means drifing!

Brakes was working VERY good, money well spend!

Lined up with some fellow M3's

And at the end she got a good wash, packed all the stuff back in and was ready to get home!

                      Till next time...

No, I have seen it before on Falken tires. Working on a complane case to get full refound. That is not supposed to happen, even if you drift them. Only driven like 2000km as well.
