On the pictures the line from the front is not routed. The bolt you see is the fittings that will go on the tube that comes from the pressure reduction valve that sits on the left inner fender on the engine bay.

I have then gone up towards the fusebox and cut a hole in some stock rubber that was located under there. Then the line goes inside and follows the gear tunnel and goes into the rear of the e-brake.

I must say i liked the idea of the electric line lock fitted to the stock handle with a switch.
Yesterday I welded a rust hole in the wheel well and I welded four nuts for the bracket for the e-brake. (I suck at welding:()

Carbonfiber door cards has arrived Oslo custom service, and will probably arrive after the weekend.

New seats arrived today FINALLY!! .........in wrong colour. I ordered black black, but this is what showed up. I got some more off the price, so I decided to keep them.
Because I noticed that the silver (bright gray) is not the type of alcantara I'm after. So if they HAD been in black I would have been dissapointed I think.

The cushions are fitted with vecrod, and are simple for a upholstry shop to make new.

Overhauled an assambled the E36M3 rear calipers






Painted the rear hubs to prevent rust


VANOS was not shiny enough, so it had to be polished




The rims had lost some shine during the two seasons so they had to be re polished. So I pulled out the bolts and polished the lip and the gold head of the bolts.

















Welded the camber and toe rear kit onto the subframe and primed it











Fitted the new aluminum radiator







And fitted the rest of the Hushmat and the hydraulic e-brake setup

Put the rear axle on the car and the additional parts!











Also received the carbon fiber door cards, which does not fit....at all!! And they are crappy finish!

you're having some serious parts issues lately it looks like. car and progress looks great though. :)

Have done the first test drive today, it was wet. The handbrake does lock the rear wheels nicely, and the brakes works as well.

Low interest in my project?

While I'm waiting on the carbon fiber that is supposed to be inside the car, I have made some quick solutions to make it look more ok while I wait.

The stock damping mat that is behind the rear seat I glued on some alcantara.



Since the carbon fiber plates are flat, and some of the steel will be viewable I painted some blue inside the car.





The stock c-pillar trim was not nice any more, so these got some alcantara as well





Made some door cards of sound deadening mats, these are also now in alcantara fabric.



The car is complete for now, just waiting on the carbon fiber for the inside.

Which discs do you use for the rear end? E30M3, or E36M/Z3M ones?

I first leveled the subframe mounts, then leveled the plates for the welding. I TIG welded.
Rear discs are E36M3, 310x20mm

Where did you get the brackets for mounting the E36M3 rear calipers? Your own design, or is there someone out there who sells them?
