Hello mates! Not much have been done since last time. I have, as some of you have read, moved to another place i Norway. So it was time to move the car along with me. Me and my mate got together and rented a garage, and it was time to move the car.

I started off by getting the car ready to me moved. This was to put on all suspension and stuff like that to get is as a rolling chassis. I also had to get the tires mounted on the Work wheels.

So this time it is just some photos of what the final product might look like in the end.

I'm worikng at Volkswagen now, and I borrowed the new Caddy Maxi 4-motion for the moving job.



After some man hours this was the result. I'll let the photos speak.







Caddy is packed with the tools, parts and what not.



Off we go...



After 2.5 hours on the salty Norwegian roads, it was time to give it a quck wash.







And finally in it's place in the new garage.

This is probably nitpicking but you should mount your oil cooler with a long screw and standoffs. Some oil coolers fail from vibration and your seems to be mounted directly. The long screw will compress the cooler from both sides preventing failure where the cooler is brazed together.

That or put some neoprene washers in between cooler and chassis.

I'm talking about the blue spacers in this pic:

Get out of my head. This entire build has been what I wanted! Except the RB, any particular reason you went with the RB instead of something like the 2JZ?

Anyways great work! Please keep posting pics

1. Because every one else is having 2JZ.
2. Because 2JZ is to straight forward.
3. RB26 have the best stright six sound there is.
4. 2JZ have to much newton to get it road legal in Norway. We have a limit of 330hp and 355nm in the E30 chassis.

I'm originally a toyota guy so I am naturally doing the 2JZ once the chassis is complete. I am totally digging the new wheels! Looks awesome!

Hello fellow members. I have not been nice about the updates. I have been doing a lot of work that does not show in photos. Small tweaks here and there. Have been making a lot of progres though. So let's let the photos do the talk.

I got a set of Mine's rocker cover baffle plates. These will prevent oil beeing thrown out into the catch can.



I have been building new AN6 fuel lines, they are not finished in the photo. Need some clamps and tidying up.



The steering knuckle got an aluminium bushing.



Went with AN fittings from fuel pump and all the way to the fuel rail. Nice, tidy and expencive..



Made a heat shield from aluminium and covered it with gold heat reflective film.



Found a new place for the brake fluid reservoir





The two AN12 breathers



Went with an stand alone oil filter for the turbo. A must for a good ball bearing turbo





AN lines and engine mount



Got a turbo beanie for the Borg Warner, wide band lambda and exhaust wrap



Gapped the spark plugs and installed the Benchmark coils



Received the MAXX ecu plug and play for R32GTR



Started wiring the engine up. Plugged in the Wiring Specialities harness and so.







Started by pluging in the stock ECU and twisted the key to prime the oil. Went on turing until oil came out of the turbo turn line. But noticed the fuel pump did not run. I then noticed I had forgot to put on a wire that needed permanent +. Fixed that an then the fuelpump run. Primed fuel into a bottle to get clean fuel. Stated the car on first try with the stock ecu, but it did not run well, missing both MAF's and labda.
I connected the MAXX ecu, and calibrated the TPS.

Then, guess what?

I'm so sorry that I have not been able to update. I was going to do it now, but Photobucket is down for maintanance.

I have driven the car 7000km this summer, and found some issues that I need to take care of in the winter.

I can try to get a big big update during this weekend. Think I have time on sunday.
