The whole time I've been on this forum, every time I see your sig, I think of how much I love your car. I think I knew the track was Sebring, but I didn't realize until just now that you live an hour away from me....

Always cool to meet local e30 heads! We have a decent crew down here. A couple of m3 owners too.
When's your next track event? If I'm free, I might see about coming and watching!
The next Sebring day will be some time after the new year, March I think. Several of us are hitting an Auto-X in Zephyrhills on Sunday at the Zephyrhills Airport. You're welcome to come check it out for a bit if you like.
What do younthink of the AKG DTM shifter? Planning on getting that for my track car, but I'd love some feedback on it!
Love your car, btw!
The stage 2 shifter from AKG had tiny little throws that did not make me feel comfortable while shifting. I returned it to AKG in favor of their stage 1 shifter. The throws are still significantly shorter than the Ireland Engineering short shifter I had before, but are long enough now that I don't have tense up at every clutch release hoping I'm in the intended gear.
Stage 1 and 2 look the same above the console but length of the lever below the pivot point is different. I much prefer the stage 1. I also modified the knob to sit about an inch or so lower to a height that I like better.
Now that I've got it refined to my liking, it's a great product!
