Yes no coilovers were made... In fact it has been difficult finding any parts for this car or good info for the build. In addition the info out there is not very accurate. Hence the long build.
There are going to be lot of "first" time pieces on this build
I wasnt at h20 but Emre was.

It's been a long process. This car is being built for vintage racing, so we need something that's going to be class legal but still handles the way I want it to. I've been doing track stuff for over 10 years now and I'm pretty picky about how I want the car set up. That means we needed a full custom solution. Details will follow after we get the protoype in our hands.
This car was there. That's where we found the Racing Dynamics RGS alloys.
You're looking at it :p
Unfortunately, that kind of money will net you a rough example. Good ones are closer to 10K. And even those will need tons of work. There's really no way you can put together a decent, reliable 16v Mercedes for under 20K. Prices are basically in line with the E30 M3. But you have nowhere near the aftermarket support of the M3. We've been doing pretty much everything from scratch on this car.sigpic

With suspension, custom is the only way to go with this car. which equals more money more money more money. It's been a long process. It's a bummer seeing most owners cutting their springs just to get "low". :loco:
Wish I would of seen it in person, I didn't see any other 16v's there. Woulda been cool to B.S. with ya.
I thought I spotted a 16v Sunday night driving past when I was hanging out in "Phillips" parking lot.
my bad, I was confused since your buddy answered my question and I thought it was you.

Hey, Emre, finally dropped into the thread. Everyone else, I'm the seller of the 190E, which seems to be in great hands. Above all, I hope I advertised the car accurately and you got what you wanted. Sure seems that way :).
Love the pictures from Mont Tremblant. How was the motor out there?Comment
