Love the DTM shifter, thinking of ordering one myself. Like what you did to the relocation of brake booster, not a 2 hour job, thats for sure!
Have you considered modifiying the org. S50 oilsump? You will get around the problem of low oil pan then. But this is a track car i guess?
Regards from far north :)
I have used a e34 5 series sump to clear the subframe. The car will be used on the road to start with then will look into the roll cage etc etc stuff later.
I have a wedding coming up to pay for :) I promised the missus I would finish the car soon hence the rapid pace of completion haha.

Only extra to this mod-application is that you need changing the sway bar mounts to the front of the crossmember, in the chassi. And then turn the sway bar 180 deg.

Nice design...
Ill probably go with what the jet sprint boat guys use on the blown v8s..
Oil pressure sensor with surge tank and high pressure pump which fires a shot of oil onto the bottom end when oil pressure drops. That as some good old baffling. It works out a lot cheaper than running a dry sump the system.
I will likely CAD up a sump gaurd and have it water cut from alloy to protect the well.

Long day today..
Worked on trying to get the rest of the exhaust hung but unfortunitly over looked the legnth of the linkage into the gearbox. So have decided the best way is to sort this is to weld a short link rod onto this rod so the gearbox end fits perfectly.
This held up the drive shaft which I've managed to swap the hanger bearing on.
Got everything else done like re-installing the heater pipes / new painted booster and master cylinder and plenium.
Also installed the alloy race radiator.
too long :( .. time to modify
Welded oil cooler lines for AN fittings.
and the engine
Starter motor wiring.
Installed the fan belt.
Plenium installed
Installed the radiator and new mounts.
Installed the e36 pipes
Stock sensor position in the Fluidyne radiator
Money ... :)
Thats all for now...

I'm on the other side of the world, its RHD, its cost me well over twice that amount as importing parts to our country isn't cheap :(
And last but not least, its kind of been a dream of mine .. so I wont be selling it any time in the forseeable future.
