My next project...not a BMW, fiat content

I am picking this up tomorrow... It is a 1959 Fiat 500N. As you can see from the picture it is pretty rusty. This will be a long term project. Not sure on the final goals for it. Either stock, slightly modded (read fiat 4 cylinder), or heavily modded (read bike engine).

Whatever method I go from the outside it will look stock. This will be a big learning experience in fab and rust repair. I have done rust repair before but this will be to a higher level.

I had a couple 600s one stock and one VW powered, fun cars will drive down side walks perfectly!

Got a ride in a 500 with a 2180 roller crank VW engine with 48 IDA webers, wild ride!!

The picture at the top was from the seller. He has a galaxy 500 and around 10 Subarus. He is building an STI for stage rally. Also building a subie for rock crawling....had a couple brats as well I believe. Cool guy..

the fiat is home in the garage. I will snap some pictures later. I need to get something to wheel it around and put it in a corner. I will not start much on it until the fall/winter.

I have a turbo e34 to build first.
