I got an extra set of calipers and I stripped them down.
Cleaned them in an ultra sonic bath of simple green and water at 50 Celsius.
All cleaned up on the wire wheel.
    Ready for a bath.

All the parts cleaned then prepped with carb spray for a final wipe down.
Then sprayed with duplicolor black caliper paint.
I saved the old rubber brake lines to use it to mask the hole on each caliper.
Bolts fitted into the brake calipers brackets to mask the threads.

Paint all dry ready to assemble with new seals

Here is a tip for rebuilding the front girling calipers,
Place the new seal on the end of the piston and then get the seal to fit in the groove of the caliper then slide the piston in.
On the pelican parts DIY and the e30tech DIY it does not cover this step.

    New front calipers

New rear calipers upgraded with brass guide bushings. From Ireland engineering

Too large of an filter and the engine takes more time to build up pressure when its started, thus you get more wear on your internals.
I used to work at a ford dealership and some of the engines were starting to show premature failures on bearings and such, ford responded by sending smaller oil filters because the problem was that they did not get enough pressure on start up.
thank you i will keep this in mind, and go to the stock size filter.

    old vs new

I had my friend eric spray a spare valve cover i had in wrinkle black as I was not happy with how my valve cover turned out.

    masked it up.

I used a belt sander at work to get the majority

then i used a block sander to get the nice even grain finish

    before and after
