Made some templates out of cardboard and transferred it to some 3/16 plate steel. cut it out and used the grinder to get it to fit.
almost done and ready to weld.

I got some spare strut housings from my friend bob (blackout)

    Project,
    • remove backing plates
    • buy or build backing plates to attach a duct hose
    • remove lower spring perches
    • weld m3 style sway bar end link mount.
    • weld gusset between housing and knuckle

I used a pair of tin snip to cut the backing plate off.
I used a band saw to cut the spring perches.

New ground from the oil pan an extra Ground from the passenger frame rail to the engine block. Cleaned the ground From the engine wiring harness on the strut tower.
Then there is one ground stud under the steering column cleaned that also.
Main relay and the 2 next to it are also new.
Not sure what else to check.

Heat gun to get the sound deadening off followed by wd-40 while the metal is still hot. then just rub away the residue with a rag
