I had friend of mine recently purchase a super clean e30 that i knew about, and shortly after buying it we headed to cars and coffee a local car show that has become huge in the last couple of years.

thanks fcb m3 for hooking me up with this hood, ended up selling my old hood for 50 bucks, and bought this one for 20, I clay bared it, waxed it, cleaned the cosmoline on the back side, replaced the hood emblem and hood shock and it looks half way decent,

OP, can you just enlighten us with what worked for you? Afterall, this is a project thread.

For me, Simple Green and some Race Glaze worked okay but required A LOT of elbow grease. I'm curious what others are using...

crappy picture to update the thread

wire tucked all wiring coming out of the fusebox,
            relocated diagnostic connector
relocated c101 connector inside the m3 harness cover
relocated 3 relays on the bracket to the firewall
            relocated coil
            removed cruise control
            removed ac
removed power steering pump & reservoir, lines looped
            removed windshield wiper reservoir
            removed cosmoline
only thing remaining is the hood latch.

working on the battery tray area next
I purchased new exhaust manifold gaskets and the down pipe gasket, just haven't gotten around to installing them

This car is awesome! I've just spent the last 2 hours reading this thread and it's 2am here in Australia and I have to be up for work in 5 hours.

Your attention to detail is awesome, I wish I had the patience, skill and finesse you had. I'm too scared to do anything to my 325iS incase I fuck it up as they are rare as hell over here, and it's not cheap to maintain one either.

You need more Mtech II body kit ;), probably my most favourite feature of my iS.

If I was going to invest that amount of cash I would Rather do an engine swap

                        i like them
here is a diy I made on the install
How to install coilovers on your e30 Notes Main focus on the front passenger side and touched based on the rear. The front driver side is identical except for the fact that the brake wear indicator sensor wiring is only on the front driver side and right rear passenger side, its just a wiring harness you need to unplug
