Rengifo I decided to sell my Alpinas. Last drive with them last Friday. Getting some dinner for Natalie.

      Sina Freeride
      Bought them on sat.
We mounted them up and off he went.

I bought a set of TRM C1's from NYY e90 in 15x8 et20 with BFG rivals in 205/50/15 I picked those up Monday.

My track wheels are the kosei k1s with Toyo ra1 tires
      Those tires are pretty bald.
I decided to make the Kosei's my street whees and the c1's my track wheels.
I tried ordering a set of street tires for my Kosei's from the local tire distributors in my area but no one could get anything.
I got a lead to buy them online from discounttiredirect.com
I gave it a shot and it worked. I ordered on Thursday and they arrived Tuesday this week.

Cleaned the new wheels and added air to the tires.

Loaded them into the car to go to the tire shop.

      Got the new wheels balanced.

      Mounted them on the car.

The fronts are super close to touching but do not touch.
0.030 feeler gauge between the sidewall bulge and the strut

the next day i took the kosei's and the new tires to the tire shop
the Toyo Ra1's are beyond done

      all mounted up and balanced

these have a little extra room next to the strut

so this is the new street setup
      15x7 kosei k1
      Et-20
      No spacers
      225/50/15 Kumho Ectsa Ast
Lips rolled flat and flared front and rear

          TRM's always look good.
Wouldn't that still rub though under hard cornering when the tire is flexing a bit?

Abby i totally agree. I need to buy or make like a 5mm spacer and see if that's enough.

Woot new tools. My harbor freight 1/2 torque wrench exploded this last weekend. The ratchet paw mechanism just fell apart after 3 years of loyal service. My 1/2 craftsman breaker bar also recently failed. Both were replaced for free. And Sears had a sale on torque wrenches so I bought another one.

I have one of those Craftsman breaker bars and I never use it- the pin falls out. I got a GearWrench one- MUCH more solid, plus the round handle is more friendly to a cheaper pipe.

That's exactly what failed with mine the spring and ball detent popped out. One time I noticed it and grabbed them off the floor and reassembled. This last time I wasn't as lucky and now it got replaced.

My dad got me some sweet Momo racing posters. My buddy curt got me some BMW and porsche posters for the garage.

                        Hey guys
I started working on a rear seat delete.
I got a large piece of cardboard and started making a template.
After that template I trasfered it to a large piece of wood.
                        And attached some black carpeting.
I will be removing the rear seat belts

Nice. i like the rear seat delete. reminds me of when manufacturers turn a rear seat into a parcel shelf, like a 944...

                              This build is good. sub'd
