I don't have pictures of the cuts I made right this minute but i'll post some up soon. It's pretty much how I left it after install cause my biggest concern was getting it running and driving first (I was in the middle of moving from one house to another during the engine install)

I'm using the scirocco radiator. Tube front end would be legit!

Never finished but it's at least a running/driving project!

Messy messy, right after the maiden voyage around the neighborhood. I wanted to get the cooling system bled so I temporal have it just straight piped 2.5" out the side of the car. Not my ideal setup but whatever I wanted to drive it.

Thanks, I figured hearing/seeing mine run for a bit would give you a little motivation. Your build is so much more thorough than mine! I can't wait to see yours with the engine in it.

It does! So keep working on it so my jealousy grows!! My friend actually dropped a cherry picker to my house yesterday. But my IJ crank scraper doesn't fit whatsoever and requires more
Work to fit than I want. Thinking about ditching it and just slapping the oil pan baffle in and call it good.

Nahhh, this thing will never be finished but it's close to being on the road and legal. Notice the thread title "lifetime projects" ;) - How's your car simo?

True, they are never done. but running, driving and registered are great things. E30 facial surgery is almost over with, shes looking pretty sexy right now. I dont want to clutter your thread with pics of mine. I have recent pics on my thread. Then Im back to dealing with the BAR and getting those CA plates on mine.

I always thought lifetime projects because you take forever to get anything done

                  miss you brother

Haha, I used to stress out about trying to get shit done as quick as some of these other guys but that pressure made it stressful and not fun for me. Just moving at my own pace has been good for me, i'm learning not to stress out about the small stuff and not to force the math. Hopefully only doing things once and not having to redo things.

                    Miss you too man.

Yea something about going out to the garage and spending a few hours getting a few things done always feels good. I have a small garage I am renting to work on my "lifetime project" and its a slow and steady process, but everythings been going together so nice, it seems like the slow and steady method has worked well...

ps my thread is at the bottom of this page if you want to see the pics, Im trying not to whore it out.

pps go buy the 14" panasports that are for sale right now in PNW

It's running and driving. Hold up is that I need to invest in my own welder to get the transmission tunnel done. It's all small things aside from the tunnel at this point

Been working on tidying up wiring and getting all the lights working and verified. Euro Turns need to be wired up correctly, etc.

I had to buy my first (and probably not last) Hazard Switch for the car.
