painting the engine arms white, along with the starter, and oil pan, and the block is going to be painted grabber green, along with some other things.





and a question for r3v, would you use this clutch?

what is everyone doing for a electric fan on the 24v cars?

heres some updates to where im at now. got the plastic housing replaced by a new metal housing, low temp thermo stat, and a new water pump which appears like its going to turn twice the water as the old one. the valve cover is currently being sandblasted, so i can do it up smooth. well, on to the pics

been messing with the m50 on and off today, me and mike10562004 worked on it last night, and some today. got the valve cover back from sandblasting, and its currently drying from a coat of semi gloss black high temp paint. got the intake ports and intake mani cleaned of most gunk, it was fucking like 1/4 inch of sludge buildup in it. should pick up power just from that. got the intake side block stripped down, primed and painted as well. waiting on that to dry for a new coat here in a few mins, after that, i plan on re asembling the entire side and valve cover as well tonight. pics of all that after all progress has been made, but for now...heres where i am now:

got the valve cover gasket installed along with the freshly painted valve cover, and installed all the intake mani gaskets, and put that side of the motor back together for the most part. did some other misc things as well. heres some pics of where i'm currently at:







and i need this hose, i think its the main coolant hose, idk, 4 hose openings, all 1 peice. ny one gotta name for it, or a p/n?

thanks, the block was somewhat rusty, so i had to think up a fix, and high temp grabber green seemed to do it well :)

oh and the rears are bald btw, imagine fresh tread on a 65 series tires instead of bald/60 series tires!
