Store told me it should be fine, I took the old one in and they matched it up, hopefully they did it right. Thanks for the input.

    Long awaited parts finally in,

    Been waiting for this,

    Installed,

    New thermostat,

    Installed,

    Alittle bit of green,

This was such a bit*h to take out, there wasn't any screw or bolt to loosen the top clamp,

Then I realized that the fuel hose I bought was 1/4'' dia., had to quickly run over to the store before it closed to find 5/16'' dia. hose,

    New fuel hose and clamps,

I know these weren't the original spec plugs but I didn't want to throw the originals back in there,

    COP installed,

    So much cleaner with COP,

Threw a coat of paint on the front frame so that I can at least install the radiator,

    Thanks man!

Started the dreadful body work on the engine bay. I would of loved to take the motor out and do it properly but due to the lack of the right equipment this wasn't possible. I had a feeling that there might be some rust under the seam sealer and I did find a few spots where there was rust under it. So I'm removing any seam sealer thats suspect of harbouring rust, and new sealer will be added.

Coil on plug is going in so no more brackets.

The bottom frame seemed like a good spot for water to sit, so it got a nice thick coat of rubber undercoating.

Started the left side, but the fuse box and abs module are going to be quite difficult to navigate around.

More work done today, missing the water pipe so everything else is delayed, should have it by next week...hopefully.

Valve cover, newer one vs old one

Valve cover in with all new gaskets

My original theme in the bay was to keep it clean, silver and black...that failed, and now I have some color in the bay. Going to try to keep it subtle.

Thats it for now, more tomorrow.

    So more work was done,

There's so much filth and grease everywhere,

Oil pan was a bi*ch to take off, there was so much silicon holding that pan I couldn't even get it off smacking it with a rubber mallet, finally had to score the silicon all around and eventually dropped. Luckily no bolts in the pan.

Took the oil filter housing, there was sludge coming out, sigh

    Before,

    After,threw some paint on,

Threw some paint on some random parts, came out better than expected,

I think I have the motor apart as far as I dare to go with it for now, reassembly will start as soon as I get all the gaskets and what not in.

They're pretty good, because the bulb housing is at an angle the light is better diffused, but nothing really compares to normal bulbs.
