    Some small juicy updates.

96+ M3 control arms were ordered last night from rmeuropean to replace my current set, which have slight ball joint play. Related pickle fork was also purchased to help with removal.

    These bad bitches came in!

So I had em mounted, and laid down to compare the old vs. the new.

I am a gigantic fan of the difference in size of sidewall and tread patch. So much better.

And a quick test fit, no additional rolling of the rears or fronts in this picture, just an adjustment of the rear spring adjusters to raise the rear up slightly.

Much more aggressive and grippy. Really digging this look.

Fenders will be flared this week, as well as the installation of the new control arms and another alignment.

The old stance was for this same E30, but in a different part of its existence.

This new stance is representative of the future of this car. A future I am far more fond of.

    Stay tuned!!

I have been honing down tha motoway on 195's for a little too long now.

New rubber for all 4 corners was just purchased today. Direzza ZII's in the 225 variety will be here on Friday.

Subsequent adjustments will be made to the Coilovers, and to the fender arches to ensure a proper fit, that still avoids an unnecessary amount of wheel gap.

The ZII's will be mounted to my unmolested set of silver E38 Style 5's, so there is that color scheme to look forward to again!

New control arms and another alignment will be done before the tires are daily driven to ensure as long a life as I can give them.

Definitely looking forward to this change!

After two months of wasted time with Bavarian Auto Recycling (I would avoid at all costs, customer service is literally the worst I have ever dealt with personally) and an unsuccessful trip to the only local junkyard, I have finally found a suitable driveshaft from a user over on Bimmerforums.

My Revshift 24v swap guibo turned out to be a big mistake, and it fell apart on the 8th of January. So the car has been sitting, unmoving in my garage since then.

But, the driveshaft from a 98 328is should be here by this weekend, and I can finally whoop on this thing again.

Roommate picked up a fender roller, so the days of stretched tire are about to become a recent memory. New rubber for my silver E38 Style 5's will be put on order soon. Coilovers will be adjusted and a new stance era will be born.

On a side note, I picked up a 6"x24"x24" foam block recently.

Outrageous/unnecessary is definitely going to happen, with a little bit of engineering thrown in for fun.

    Stay tuned.

Yep, the car started its life as a 1991 318is.

It will forever be a 1991, but a 318is is something it will never be again.

Pardon the dirt, but the interior is looking more and more racecar-like every single day.

    Really really digging this setup.

Trying to get as much drive time out of it before the snow falls and it gets garaged for months.

Clearing the cage tomorrow, finishing the interior install after a nice cleaning, and driving the piss out of it. Should be a good day.

These micro suede beauties just arrived in record time from Solo Racer.

Now that's a pair of bun huggers! bwahaha

I also just ordered a 13 dollar passenger for the E30 once I get the seats and harnesses installed.

    Hilarity shall ensue.

** Side note, beginning to work on a cool camera rig setup for the GoPro and a potential DSLR.

Its good to have Electrical Engineering buddies.

I have a circuit designed for a little custom city light action.

A tiny microcontroller (ATTINY85) controls 1 LED in each city light of my smilies. A photocell will be installed in one of the grills and when the sun goes down, the LED's will turn on for 1 hour.

System will be reset through the headlight switch in order for it to repeat itself if I drive at night, but not continually run all night over and over again.

Will let you know when it is all wired up and working properly.
