If everything is covered in the garage or you want to construct a mini ghettofab paint booth I can stop up and work some magic on that paint.

Yeah, my first e30 was a Cinna-Red '88 IS. I kicked myself so hard after parting with it and it's likely I'm still trying to get the damn thing back. I see a red e30 and all I think is, "Damnit".
That thing is terribly rust free. I've only seen one other that looked that clean once the carpet was pulled and the fucking thing had 88xxx original miles. Blew my mind.Need a part? PM me.

As long as everything that you don't want dusty is covered we should be fine. The worst is usually just a ring right around the car. Really it depends on how aggressive the compounding gets. From pics though it doesn't look too bad. It would be ideal if the trim came off if its not too much work, otherwise we can tape it all up.

So I started soundproofing it today. Super duper stopped over and donated 2 rolls of sound deadening he didnt need which was awesome because i used it all. I bought about 100 sq feet of RAAm audio stuff and 5 yards of ensolite. I did every sq inch and most places 2 layers.
Im thinking it should make a nice difference. I still need fiberfill for the rear panels. ill get that tomorrow
