If you ever plan on doing just the booster linkage let me know, may be a nice addition to my S38 Project.

I already have a 540i remote booster, setup, but I like how much more compact yours is.
We absolutely can just do individual parts if you guys are interested. The booster linkage and second diff mount come to mind as stuff that is useful to more than just LSX guys.

Any idea on how comparable size wise an S62 is compared to an LSx - would the booster setup be okay to use, space wise for an S62 swap?
Pretty certain the S62 is wider across the heads, it's a pretty huge engine. As far as booster setup is concerned, it's pretty much is flush with the framerail on the drivers side.

Our engine, transmission, driveshaft, wiring harness, fuel pump was $4000 and had 45,000 miles on it. We're selling our kit if you plan on going that route for 1200 (engine mounts, tranny mount, booster system, second diff mount, swap guide CD which is a 200 page PDF of every step and part we used). As far as the rest of what you need, there's just the GTO oil pan, exhaust, radiator, radiator fan, etc. Just miscellaneous parts. I'd say you could definitely do the whole swap for $6500....and stock hp output of these engines is 350+ with essentially no weight gain (we gained 60lbs at the end of the day but that weight is more centered due to the beefier 6 speed transmission).

            Cheers

Booster Linkage System (hydroboost shown is for demonstration only)

Second Differential Mount - in our car

About to drill holes to mount plates for Diff Mount

I have always been interested in this setup... but the one thing that turns me off is the trans. A long long while ago I drove the last z28 model chevy ever made, and i just felt that the trans felt too cheap to me. Can you maybe dispel those feelings for me by comparing it to the m20 trans feel?

What made you guys go with a remote hydroboost?
I went with a mark I jetta booster and just drilled the firewall and petal assembly to slide it over an inch and a half.

But to me everything looks great guys keep up the good work.

Get an aftermarket shifter. Problem solved.

Seeing how much development cost is for engineering that is a steal! Would you be including the drive shaft as well? I wonder what size tires you would need to have all that power be useful!

Hey guys, quick update. Our kit does not include the driveshaft because they are usually included in your engine/transmission/driveshaft that you need to get. It's really easy to take them to a driveshaft shop and get them shortened. I think ours was less than $100 to get shortened and balanced. We're currently running 205 tires with a 2.92 diff and it spins the tires under power in first and second but still hooks up pretty well. You still can in third but you have to actively try to. Again, that's with a 2.92 diff though. A 3.44 or higher and you would surely get more tire spinning fun.

Here's a pic of the v2.0 trans mount installed in our car. We made it for easier exhaust running and we think it looks a lot better too.
