Oh cool! I live about 5 minutes off of I-75, so if you ever have a few hours to kill on the way up or back, let me know!Leave a comment:

Normally I'll take i75 to the turnpike & then switch over to i95, so I'm not off the highway much when I'm driving home. But there is a South Florida e30 meet/picnic happening the first week of March that I'll be attending, you should go! I'll pm you the thread.Leave a comment:

Do you ever drive through Tampa at all to or from school? If so, we should meet up sometime! I wanna make some relatively local E30 friends.

^^^^^^^^That is what makes this car so much fun. Instant boost:D As far as a driving video, I'm signing up for an HPDE event in Homestead on the 23rd of this month, so I'll try to get some!!
IF ANYONE has some old, used race pads lying around like some Hawks or something, let me know, I would gladly take them off your hands;)Leave a comment:

Check the battery tray! I used some heater hose & a male to male pipe fitting to extend the larger diameter hose & just replaced the smaller one with a longer one. It's very functionable & looks pretty good to me :)
I wish I could say I knew. It was off of a 90's Volvo wagon, and that it's a garret, but I'm not entirely sure which kind. It has an internal wastegate and BOV.Last edited by AbsorbantNut; 02-14-2013, 09:55 PM.Leave a comment:

interesting choice of turbo, is that the 13c or 15g? I probably missed it in the reading somewhere. If its the 13c you can get a 15g off a fwd 8xx turbo for a significant difference, and still bolts up to everything the 13c did.Leave a comment:

Where did you route the coolant line to the reservoir at? Looks and sounds good!Leave a comment:

And here's a video of the exhaust running, it's by far the quietest that the car has ever been after driving it around for two months with just the old 2 foot down tube!

I replaced the ignition switch & they worked!I have question about the very first page of this thread! I have the problem of not being able to roll up or down the windows because of the ignition switch I believe. Did you replace it? Does it work now? I have a trick as to where I will driving and if the windows don't work I will switch off the motor until all of the electronics die off then I turn the key into the "run" position and bump start the car so I can then roll up and down the windows.Leave a comment:

So she's been running quite fine for the past month. In that time I have installed a boost gauge, boost controller, and a wideband. The car runs in the 12s-13s when boosting and that will have to suffice until WOT-TECH can help me out with the tuning ;) I also went ahead and got an exhaust made up for the car. The Volvo down tube I used is 2.5" in diameter, but I felt if I made the exhaust 2.5" & I ever needed to put a larger turbo on the car I would have to redo all of the exhaust in 3" if I was really serious about making some power. So I left the down tube 2.5" and had the exhaust shop make the rest 3". So if I do ever feel the need to put on a larger turbo, I'll just have to change the down pipe
Sadly, I had to run the boost gauge thru the windshield sprayer notch in the hood. I smudged my note & misread a 6 for a 4 at the store & winded up being 2 feet short of hose. I can see it fine though, and it's just a 0-20psi Snap On pressure gauge, so it should be able to handle the weather lol. Here's some pics!

A quick picture topside of the car to show the little monster that I built the exhaust for.
