I had to go back a few pages to check it. Motronic is just fine for lower boost targets with appropriate fmu.

Just read the whole thread. My god. I have a decent amount of rust, in the same area in the truck. Never really knew / cared to know about welding until now. Made a few calls to older brother's friends, found a guy with a huge garage, plasma cutter, and a MIG and TIG welder.. Now just to pick up some aluminum and make a new floorboard as well. I liked how you just cut out the rear end of another e30, I think I am going to tackle it the same way, rather than trying to weld in a corner. Anyways, awesome budget build.

Just wondering if those coolant inlet lines are custom or if they came with the turbo?

They came factory on the Volvo I pulled I pulled the turbo off of. Had to make a few bends in them to get the hoses where I wanted.
