More Update but first I need wisdom.
Problems:
1.Temp dial doesnt work
-- Possible wrong wire attached to the sensor. Other options?
2.Engine runs like shit
--now has 02 sensor, have tried several MAFs.
--works better with no MAF but not great and cant drive with no MAF
--has exhaust
--AFR is >18 at idle, but around 14-15 under light load, and 13ish under hard gas
--check engine light is on but no code reader
3. No power windows or sunroof
--no power at those wires.
--possible K4/5 relays not getting power?
--wires next to old ECU (round pin plug) anything to do with it?
4. Brakes seem super sensitive. Just grabs hard all of a sudden
Mostly I am concerned about the engine, I drove it home ok, but with the random reving and dieing its really hard to drive. Any clues where to start guys?
I have tried :
-swapping MAFS
-installing o2 sensor
-resetting DME
Anyway updates from today (and last couple of days):
-got exhaust built.
I dont like this view of my car, but no exhaust = no driving in the city
This looks shady.
found a leaky fuel line at the shop - replaced it before the welding started
Y pipe is on
These are the pipes I got on summit. Total trash, I will be calling them on Monday.
Cat is slip fitted :shady:
whole bit in
Since there is a new rack with no alignment, the lugs worked loose, on stud snapped, had to wait for dad to get the tools to get it all retorqued
Here is a video of it running. Please help.
