Oh, and this new shift setup with the UUC DSSR and the AKG Delrin carrier bushing? INSANE. I haven't driven the car yet, but just sitting in it rowing through the gears feels incredible. Less than an inch of play side to side, the lever is centered perfectly in the opening, and it doesn't hit the side of the console when I go into reverse or over into 5th anymore. Just clicks right into each gear and feels solid. -
Just got it back in, we started at about 12:30 and had it running just after 4:00 pm. Started on the first crank, too! No issues, the header/Y-pipe combination we built fits perfectly, now I just need to take it in to have the exhaust welded up.Leave a comment:

Someday when I have a lift, that will never be a concern again. :)Leave a comment:

Good I was worried you would have to chop them up to install them if forgot about that. Otherwise they have to be installed piece by piece from under the front of the engine with the engine mount arm removed.Leave a comment:

Before. We installed them before we installed it the first time. Makes things SO much easier. Plus, with them being a single unit now, installing them after the motor is in would be nearly impossible.Leave a comment:

Are you going to install the headers before or after you drop the motor in?Leave a comment:

Dear sweet Mary and all the saints in Heaven. Headers came back from ceramic.

Full inside/outside ceramic coating. I think I might be one of the first people to make a set of these headers worth a damn. :up:Leave a comment:
